An insight into the demands laid out by the powers that be at La Liga giants Barcelona for up-and-coming defender Mikayil Faye has today been provided.
The name of youngster Faye has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital once more across the day to date.
This comes amid claims of negotiations between Barcelona and Porto over a deal for the Senegalese kicking up a notch.
The Primeira Liga heavyweights are known to have identified Faye as a leading summer target, pushing hard for his signature as a result.
To date, an agreement between the parties has not been found, amid claims of varying valuations.
Those of a Barca persuasion, in turn, will no doubt be interested to hear of an insight into their side’s asking price for Faye coming to the fore.
As per a report from Relevo transfer insider Matteo Moretto:
‘The Catalan club has set out its demands: 15/16 million euros and a buyback clause.’
Porto, as of yet, have refused to agree to as much, with discussions between the clubs, as a result, labelled as ongoing.
