Juventus attacking prodigy Kenan Yildiz is a player that FC Barcelona have admired for quite some time now.
Back in 2022, when the 20-year-old forward was still at Bayern Munich, the Blaugrana came close to signing him. However, Juve beat them to the punch and secured the youngster’s transfer.
Since then, however, rumblings of Barça’s continued interest in Yildiz have continued to do the rounds, given how well he has developed in Italy.
Now, according to journalist Gabriel Sans via Radyospor, Barcelona indeed have Yildiz’s name on their transfer wishlist.
The 20-year-old has emerged as one of the few positives for Juventus this season, racking up two goals and four assists from 11 games.
This comes after a productive FIFA Club World Cup campaign during the summer, when he scored three and assisted two goals in four games.

Capable of playing across the frontline, Yildiz could be an interesting option for Barcelona, given his age, versatile nature, and undoubted potential.
However, signing the Turkish international will be a costly affair as he has a contract with Juventus until 2029, who are already working on a renewal with improved wages.
Considering Barcelona’s financial situation, things must improve a great deal for them to be able to launch a move for Yildiz or any of their other targets, such as Victor Osimhen, next year.
“Yildiz is also on the transfer list; however, Barcelona’s current financial situation doesn’t allow for large transfer investments. They are developing some projects to address this,” said the journalist.
“However, for both Osimhen and Kenan Yildiz, the current budget needs to be exceeded. The financial situation needs to be considered.”
