Barcelona are keen to announce the signing of Kayserispor teenager Emre Demir.

Barca had hoped to confirm Demir's signing before Tuesday night's summer transfer deadline, but the deal couldn't be finalised in time.

Mundo Deportivo says Barca remain calm about the situation and hope to complete Demir's transfer in the coming weeks.

Barca will pay €2m for the 17 year-old, who will remain with Kayserispor on-loan to the end of the season.

Demir made his first team debut for Kayserispor as a 15 year-old, though hasn't yet played this term.
