Earlier today, FC Barcelona announced that Lamine Yamal was sidelined for a period of two to three weeks following the recurrence of the pubic discomfort issue from last month.
The 18-year-old winger had been out for three weeks because of the problem and missed four matches before returning last Saturday against Real Sociedad.
However, after the game against PSG, Lamine started experiencing the pain and discomfort again, and is now out for at least two weeks.
Lamine will certainly miss the Sevilla clash on Sunday and Spain’s games during the international break.
Reports earlier suggested that he would also miss the Girona game after the break and might not make it for the UCL clash vs Olympiacos, with the aim being for him to be ready for Real Madrid on 26 October.
However, according to the latest update from Javi Miguel of AS, Barcelona have a plan laid out for Lamine Yamal’s return to action.

As things stand, the goal is for the talismanic forward to make his comeback and play some minutes against Girona right after the international break on 18 October.
Then, the idea would be for him to start in the Champions League encounter against Olympiacos three days later, so that he can build match rhythm and reach the Clasico on 26 October at 100% fitness.
Barcelona followed a similar protocol with Lamine and his previous injury, handing him minutes against Real Sociedad before starting him in the high-profile clash vs PSG.
However, given the recurring nature of the problem, it will not come as a surprise to see Hansi Flick & co. treads with greater caution with the 18-year-old superstar.
