It is known that Barcelona’s search for defensive reinforcement is gathering pace, and Alessandro Bastoni sit at the top of their wishlist.

The Serie A side are open to discussions, but only under the right financial conditions.

As per the outlet, Barcelona have already taken initial steps by submitting a proposal in the region of €45 million. 

While this shows clear intent from the Catalan club, it falls short of Inter’s expectations. 

The Italian giants are reportedly holding firm on a minimum fee of €60 million, underlining just how highly they value the defender.

From a tactical point of view, Bastoni fits exactly what Barcelona are looking for.
