At his new club, Dro will wear the number 27 shirt, a clear signal of PSG’s long-term belief in his potential.

While neither side has publicly confirmed the financial details of the deal, the total package is understood to be worth around €8.2 million.

Dro’s message to Barcelona

Shortly after the deal was made official, Dro took a moment to address Barcelona supporters directly.

In a heartfelt message shared on his social media accounts, the youngster looked back on his journey at the club, which began when he joined La Masia at just 14 years of age.

Opening his message, he wrote, “Hello culers. I arrived at La Masia when I was just fourteen, with the dream of one day wearing the Barça first team jersey.

“After almost four unforgettable seasons, today I have to make one of the most difficult decisions of my life: to say goodbye to the club that has been my home for the last few years.

“I am leaving behind many friendships, lessons learned, and memories that will stay with me forever,” he wrote.

Thanking those who helped

Dro then went on to add his appreciation for everyone who played a role in his development at Barcelona, especially those who shared the dressing room with him.

He added, “I will be eternally grateful to all the members of the club and, in particular, to my teammates, for every moment we shared on and off the field.

“It is difficult to put into words everything I feel for this club and this city, which I will always carry in my heart.”

In the closing part of his farewell, Dro made it clear that his bond with Barcelona will not be broken by distance or a change of shirt.

He concluded with a message that resonated deeply with supporters.

“Although today I am taking a different path, I will continue to support and cheer you on as one of you, wherever I am.

“Barça and La Masia have not only been part of my journey, but will live on forever within me. Thank you for everything. Visca el Barça i visca Catalunya, sempre.”
