The Vitor Roque transfer saga has taken an interesting turn in recent times. Despite being contracted to Real Betis on a loan deal until the end of the season, there is a possibility the forward might leave the club this month.
That is because Palmeiras are pushing for a move for the Brazilian forward, hoping to snap him up before the transfer window in Brazil shuts on February 28.
Palmeiras are already prepared to pay quite a fortune to acquire the services of Roque, who has an excellent track record in his native Brazil.
As reported by SPORT, Barcelona are open to parting ways with the young forward, but they have set clear conditions for his exit.
The Catalan club wants to avoid financial losses and have proposed two possible transfer structures.

One option is an outright sale in February for a minimum of €27 million. The other is a loan deal with an obligation to buy for around €25 million before June 30.
Both offers are on the table, but everything hinges on Roque’s willingness to leave. The player must first reach a personal agreement with Palmeiras, who are reportedly in talks with the forward over a five-year deal.
Real Betis are another factor in the equation. The Spanish club have requested economic compensation if the loan is cut short.
While Palmeiras are reluctant to pay, Barcelona might step in to negotiate a settlement, which could include saving on Roque’s wages and avoiding certain contractual obligations.
Nothing has been finalised yet but it appears each and every involved party are in talks to make the transfer happen, which could be a good start as Palmeiras look to snap up the Barcelona forward within a week’s time.
