FC Barcelona completed their final training session on Saturday ahead of Sunday’s trip to the Ciutat de Valencia to take on UD Levante on Matchday 5 of the 2026/27 La Liga.

The Blaugrana are the only team in the competition with a 100% record, having won each of their four matches, in which they have scored 17 goals and conceded only two.

On top of their brilliant start to the La Liga campaign, Barça added a thumping 5-1 win over Feyenoord in the UEFA Champions League earlier this week, carrying forward the momentum they have built.

No Jesse Bisiwu against Levante

As preparations took place for the trip to Levante today at Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, summer signing Jesse Bisiwu was absent from group training.

Indeed, according to SPORT, the 18-year-old Belgian winger trained alone on Saturday, wearing trainers, as he continues to recover from the knock he suffered to his right leg during the Copa Catalunya final against Sabadell.

Bisiwu had begun training this week, suggesting that he could be included in the squad to face Levante, after the bureaucratic issues with regard to his registration were also sorted.

However, Barcelona are taking no risks with the youngster, who did not train with the group and is therefore not expected to be a part of the squad for Sunday’s game.

There is a possibility that he might not be included in Barça Atletic’s squad for Sunday’s trip to Logrones Promesas either, as Barça look to ease him back.

The priority is for the young Belgian to recover fully before returning to action. So, his competitive debut for Barcelona will have to wait for now.

There were a couple of other details from Saturday’s training session. Joao Cancelo was seen wearing a bandage on one hand, while Rodri was the last player to arrive on the pitch and had to sprint to join the session on time.

Meanwhile, Eric Garcia continues to train wearing a protective mask after suffering a fractured nasal septum against Valencia, due to a collision with Rodri.

The defender is available for selection and is expected to start against Levante.
