Two leading members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona will be forced to watch their step in the club’s next outing.

The pair in question? Gavi, and Jules Koundé.

Barcelona are of course primed to return to action later this evening.

Amid ongoing efforts to extend their advantage atop the La Liga table, the Blaugrana have made the trip to Spain’s capital, for a meeting with relegation-battling Leganés.

In the thick of a crucial stretch of fixtures for his side at present, Hansi Flick is widely expected to rotate his XI for the matchup.

And as alluded to above, in the case of two such Barca stars playing their part at The Estadio Municipal de Butarque, both will need to walk the disciplinary tightrope.

Sitting on four yellow cards apiece for the La Liga season, in the case of either midfielder Gavi or defender Jules Koundé being booked again against Leganés, they will be facing up to a one-game suspension.
