La Liga giants Barcelona have already begun planning for next season without one current member of Hansi Flick’s squad.
The player in question? Robert Lewandowski.
The subject of frontman Lewandowski’s future in Catalunya’s capital has of course long been a prominent one in the media headlines.
This comes with the Polish international’s current contract terms due to expire upon the season’s close.
Lewandowski remains a pivotal member of Barcelona’s frontline, considered an important veteran presence in the dressing room, too.
The fact, however, lingers that he is set to turn 38 years of age later this year.
And if the latest word stemming from the media this week is anything to go by, then a final call on Lewandowski’s future already appears to have been made by the Camp Nou brass.
As per a report from the reliable RAC1:
‘Planning (for next season) is underway without Lewandowski.’
