The report says this was the first stage of a Barcelona promotion, with the club planning to market the shirt as a vintage model. It is expected to be sold through official Barca stores and online, both with Ronaldinho’s name and in a version without it.

From a Barcelona perspective, it is easy to see why the club chose Ronaldinho for something like this. Few players have put a smile on Camp Nou’s face quite like the Brazilian maverick did. Before Messi became the face of an era, Ronaldinho was the one who made supporters fall in love with the team again.

That is why the image has landed so well. It felt like a reminder of a player who still carries enormous emotional weight around the club, even years after his time at Camp Nou ended.
