Barcelona & Real Madrid on alert as Man United sensation Gabriel makes major future call | OneFootball

La Liga heavyweights Barcelona and Real Madrid have this week been afforded a major boost in their respective pursuits of Manchester United starlet JJ Gabriel.

This comes amid the understanding that the young attacker has made the call to take his talents to Spain.

England youth international Gabriel has of course dominated the transfer headlines across the continent over the course of the last week. Disillusioned with his situation in Manchester, the 15-year-old informed those in a position of power at Old Trafford of his intention to move on.

Long considered one of the standout up-and-coming talents in all of Europe, a number of heavyweight clubs in turn quickly made known their interest in his signature.

But if the latest word stemming from the Spanish media is anything to go by, then Gabriel’s list of options already appears to have been reduced to just two.

As per a report from Diario Sport:

‘JJ Gabriel, his family and Ali Barat have agreed on a first big decision before closing the final signing. Bayern Munich, PSG, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona all know first-hand that the player’s desire would be to make the leap to Spanish football.’

Clásico rivals Barca and Real are therefore now considered the only two realistic landing spots for Gabriel.
