Barcelona receive €65m transfer offer | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have received a big-money transfer proposal for frontman Ferran Torres.

That’s according to Fichajes, who highlight Tottenham Hotspur as the club pushing for the signing of the 25-year-old.

Ferran is for his part fresh off a starring performance with Spain, featuring a goal and an assist in a 4-0 downing of Georgia.

This took the former Manchester City man’s tally to nine goals for club and country thus far this term.

And such exploits have evidently not gone unnoticed back in the Premier League.

As per a report from Fichajes:

‘FC Barcelona has received a firm offer of 65 million for Ferran Torres, a proposal that has surprised the board and opens a debate within the club.’

Whilst Hansi Flick is more than happy with Ferran, and considers the 25-year-old a key member of his squad, those behind the scenes at the Camp Nou are more open to talks regarding a sale.

As much comes amid the ongoing financial problems at the club, with Deco and co. seeking out funds to reinvest in a high-profile long-term replacement for Robert Lewandowski.
