Barcelona reignite interest in Rayo Vallecano star | OneFootball

The brass at Barcelona have made the call to reignite their interest in a member of the defensive ranks at La Liga rivals Rayo Vallecano.

The player in question? Andrei Rațiu.

Right-back Rațiu has of course been linked with a potential move to Barcelona on a number of occasions in the past.

The Romanian international is appreciated for his abilities on both sides of the ball, with his explosive forays forward having long turned heads across the La Liga landscape.

The Camp Nou transfer team, in turn, have never lost sight of Rațiu.

And as alluded to above, amid fresh exit links surrounding Jules Koundé, the Blaugrana are now considering pressing forward with their pursuit of the 27-year-old once more.

As per a report from Diario Sport:

‘Barça’s interest in the Romanian international is gaining strength again after the confirmation of the good season he is having.’

Rațiu’s Rayo Vallecano release clause, it is understood, sits at just €25 million.
