FC Barcelona roped in Marcus Rashford as one of their only three reinforcements during the summer transfer window.
The 27-year-old attacker arrived from Manchester United, on a season-long loan deal, with an option for a permanent purchase at the end of the campaign next year.
Three months into his stint with the club, FC Barcelona are happy with Rashford and remain open to the idea of signing him permanently in the summer, reports The Telegraph.
This comes after the Blaugrana sporting director Deco spoke about the England international and how the club were satisfied by his contributions so far.
“He’s on a simple loan, there’s no penalty, and if we want him, we have an option to buy. What we thought he could bring to us, he’s bringing,” he said.

Rashford has been in impressive form in recent weeks for Barcelona, standing out with his overall contributions in attack.
The 27-year-old attacker has six direct goal contributions in all competitions, including an assist last night against PSG.
Barcelona’s buy option for Rashford stands at around £26 million (€30 million). A decision about activating it will not be made in haste.
But at this point, the La Liga champions are happy with what they are seeing and are open to the idea of keeping him around for longer.
Rashford, for his part, is also very happy at Barcelona, and following his positive form in recent games, he has set himself some ambitious targets for the season, hoping to convince the Catalans to retain him.
