La Liga giants Barcelona recently had scouts in attendance to watch RB Leipzig sensation Assan Ouédraogo in action.
This comes with the Blaugrana giving consideration to a move for the youngster.
Ouédraogo, for his part, is a 19-year-old midfielder, who has long been considered one of the standout talents in his home country of Germany.
After enduring an injury-plagued first season on the books of the aforementioned Leipzig in 2024/25, the starlet had since dazzled across the early months of the new campaign.
All told, Ouédraogo directly contributed to six goals in his first 10 Bundesliga appearances of the term.
As much gave rise to a senior call-up with the German national team, culminating in a debut goal against Slovakia earlier this month.
And as alluded to above, along the way, Ouédraogo did enough to pique the attentions of one of Spanish football’s leading clubs.
As per a report from Sport BILD:
‘Arsenal, Barcelona, and Liverpool recently watched Ouédraogo play live at the stadium.’
The Barca brass, it is understood, have earmarked the ex-Schalke prodigy as a potential investment for the future.
