The conveyor belt of talents at Barcelona’s fabled academy – La Masia – continues to churn out exciting prospects one after the other.
One such talent held in very high regard is defender Landry Farre, who is currently a part of the reserve team, Barça Atletic.
Now, according to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are set to extend Landry Farre’s contract soon, with the young right-back ready to commit to the club for three more years until 2028.
The defender, who can play at right-back, centre-back, or left-back, has a contract that expires at the end of the ongoing season in 2026. But everything now appears to be in place for him to re-sign with the club until 2028.

Farre has trained with the first team under Hansi Flick on a few occasions, but has yet to make his senior debut for the Blaugrana.
The youngster started the pre-season with the senior squad back in July, although he ended up missing out on the tour of Asia in the end.
But Flick believes that Farre has the talent and the quality to push through and break into the first-team setup at Barcelona. With the club also sharing the same view, his contract will now be renewed until 2028.
Barça Atletic won’t be able to count on Farré until late October or early November. The youngster suffered a right ankle sprain at the end of August, with the club estimating an eight-week recovery.
