Although the attentions of a vast majority of football fans remain fixed on the currently underway World Cup 2026, clubs around Europe are also finalizing their plans for the next season. The most prominent aspect of this planning involves the composition of the squad, as the transfer market is set to open in a few days’ time, and clubs across the continent, including FC Barcelona, are already working on several incoming and outgoing operations.

Meanwhile, there are some other aspects of the next campaign that would attract the attention of the fans. One such aspect is that of the jersey that the team would be wearing for the next season.

A major update on this aspect has been provided by Mundo Deportivo, as it reports that Barcelona have decided to officially unveil the jersey for the 2026-27 season next week, on Tuesday, 30th June.

The report has also provided an image of the new kit, which features different shades of blue and maroon, and its shape has been inspired by the decorative panels currently being installed on the front elevation of the Spotify Camp Nou.

The venue for this unveiling has been chosen to be the iconic MACBA, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona. Choosing a venue of such great historical, social, and cultural significance shows how much importance the club puts on its kits. One day after this unveiling ceremony, on Wednesday, 1st July, the shirt would be put on sale in stores for the fans wishing to buy it.

Hopefully, this jersey would turn out to be another historical one for Barcelona, and the Blaugrana team would enjoy even more successes winning this jersey in the 2026-27 season, for which the publicly declared aim of the Catalan club remains the winning of the UEFA Champions League title.
