FC Barcelona will be back in action tonight as they take on Real Oviedo away at the Carlos Tartiere Stadium on Matchday 6 of the 2025/26 La Liga.
With the Catalans five points behind leaders Real Madrid, who have made a 100% winning start to the season, there is no margin for error, even if it is very early in the campaign.
So, there is already enough motivation to ensure a victory against the newly promoted La Liga club.
Beyond that, though, the Barcelona squad is extra motivated to secure all three points against Real Oviedo tonight, reports Mundo Deportivo, as the team wants to dedicate the victory to Gavi.

The arthroscopy he underwent to resolve discomfort in the inner meniscus of his right knee revealed that the area was far more damaged and required suturing, leading to a prolonged time out.
The injury of the brave Barcelona midfielder was a blow not only for him but also for the dressing room, and as such, the squad is determined to deliver three important points tonight and dedicate the victory to Gavi.
A number of players have already taken to social media to show their support for the injured midfield ace, who will not play again potentially until February. Now, they intend to show that support by winning the game and dedicating it to him.
Apart from Gavi, Barcelona also go into the game without other key players like Fermin Lopez and Alejandro Balde, who are also recovering from injuries.
