FC Barcelona’s squad has crossed a symbolic line, and it says a lot about where this project is heading. The latest valuation update puts the team above the €1billion mark, a reflection of how much the squad has grown in quality, stature and market appeal under Hansi Flick.

According to Mundo Deportivo, citing the latest Transfermarkt update, Barcelona’s players now exceed 1 billion euros in estimated market value. At the top of the list is Lamine Yamal, who the report says is valued at €200 million, a figure shared only with Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland. Pedri has risen to €150 million, while Fermin has jumped by €30 million to reach €100 million. Raphinha and Pau Cubarsi are both listed at €80 million.

Further down, Jules Kounde is valued at €65 million and Dani Olmo at €60 million. Balde has dropped by 5 million to €55 million because of injury, Ferran Torres remains at €50 million, and Frenkie de Jong rounds out the top ten at €45 million.

Some of the most interesting movement, though, comes from the younger names. Marc Bernal has reportedly jumped from €10 million to €30 million, Joan Garcia has risen by €10 million to €40 million, Eric Garcia is now at €35 million, Gerard Martin has surged from €5 million to €25 million, and Roony Bardghji has moved from €10 million to €15 million.

From a Barcelona perspective, that last group may be the real story. This is not just a squad carrying a few expensive stars. It is a group with value spread across the dressing room, especially through players developed internally or trusted early.

That matters because it strengthens the club in two ways at once. It boosts the sporting level on the pitch, and it also gives Barca greater structural strength in the market, something the club has badly needed in recent years.

The fact that the club has managed to increase so much in market value despite having most of its players from the academy tells you just how good a project Hansi Flick is building and the only hope is that it continues for as long as possible.
