Barcelona star admits he is ‘struggling to get playing time’ | OneFootball

Barcelona star Marc Casadó has this week opened up on his recent struggles for playing time in Hansi Flick’s squad.

This comes after the youngster was forced to make do with a place on the bench once again on Tuesday evening.

Barcelona were of course back in action last night, playing host to Diego Simeone’s Atlético Madrid in a La Liga clash.

En route to a 3-1 Blaugrana triumph, however, Casadó played just a bit part role.

Despite the late absence of Frenkie de Jong, the Spanish international was left out in favour of Eric García, despite the latter being a natural defender.

Speaking to the media following the full-time whistle on Tuesday, Casadó was therefore drawn on his current situation in Catalunya’s capital.

And the 22-year-old went on to admit:

“I am struggling to get playing time, but I am trying to give my best to help the team on the pitch.”
