Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has this week provided an insight into the extent of his physical progress over the course of the last year.

Wide-man Lamine, for his part, is of course in the midst of what has been a spectacular opening to the new campaign.

Already looking a superior player to the breakout sensation of last season, the youngster has racked up six goals and a team-leading 12 assists across all competitions to date.

As much comes despite Lamine still being just 17 years of age…

His tender years mean that the Spanish international is still in a developmental stage when it comes to his physical stature, allowing for even greater projection when it comes to his explosiveness moving forward.

Speaking to the media early this week amid celebrations of his Golden Boy award, Lamine, in turn, was asked for an insight into his progress when it comes to building his body for a lengthy career to come.

And the attacker went on to reveal that:

“I’ve gained about 10 kilos of muscle in the last year, but the important thing is I feel great on the field.”
