A leading member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona was forced into a premature departure from training on Friday.

That’s according to Jijantes, who point towards Raphinha as the player in question.

Wide-man Raphinha is for his part of course fresh off another stellar individual showing during the week, which saw the Brazilian notch a brace of assists en route to Barcelona’s 2-2 Champions League draw with Atalanta.

As much only added to what has been nothing short of a spectacular campaign on the part of the former Leeds United man to date.

Those of a Blaugrana persuasion, in turn, may be left concerned by news that Raphinha departed group training at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper early on Friday.

As confirmed by Jijantes, however, there is no need to fret.

This comes with the 28-year-old having been suffering with the effects of a common cold, expected to be fit and ready to play his part against Deportivo Alavés on Sunday as a result.
