The coaching staff at La Liga giants Barcelona have been left nothing short of amazed by the early efforts of new signing Joan García in pre-season training.
That’s according to Blaugrana insider Gerard Romero, who has this week provided an insight into the situation.
Goalkeeper Joan is for his part of course fresh off taking the biggest step of his career to date.
Following a dazzling campaign between the posts at Espanyol, the 24-year-old blocked out the outside noise, to put pen to paper on terms with Catalan rivals Barcelona.
Joan is expected to slot straight in as the Blaugrana’s new no.1 for next season, usurping both Wojciech Szczęsny, and Marc-André ter Stegen.
And as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media over the last 24 hours is anything to go by, then the talented shot-stopper already appears to be making his presence felt.
As revealed by journalist Gerard Romero, speaking on his official Twitch channel, Joan has been nothing short of ‘incredible’ in pre-season training.
So much so that those behind the scenes at the Camp Nou are understood to have concluded that their new goalkeeper boasts the best reflexes at the club since the legendary Víctor Valdés.
