Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has been joined by a fellow member of Hansi Flick’s squad as the club’s leading assist-maker across the season to date.

The player in question? Fermín López.

Barcelona were of course back in action on Saturday, locking horns with Villarreal in a La Liga clash.

When all was said and done, the Blaugrana emerged dominant 4-1 victors, to extend their advantage over Real Madrid atop the table.

Lamine Yamal grabbed the headlines post-match, after rattling off the first hat-trick of his fledgling career.

Also playing a starring role, though, was the aforementioned Fermín López.

Midfielder Fermín notched a pair of assists across the 90 minutes, to continue what has been a spectacular individual campaign to date.

The Spanish international has now hit the 14 mark for assists in the colours of Barcelona, placing him alongside Lamine as the Catalans’ top goal creator for 2025/26.
