Barcelona star misses training ahead of Mallorca | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona were forced to make do without a leading member of the club’s attacking ranks in training once more on Thursday.

The player in question? Raphinha.

Wide-man Raphinha was for his part forced to sit out earlier this week, as Barcelona booked their spot in the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey at the expense of Albacete.

This came owing to a muscular injury suffered against Elche last weekend.

The hope was that the Brazilian would be cleared to play his part when Barca return to La Liga action this coming weekend, against Mallorca.

As alluded to above, however, 48 hours out from the clash, the chances of as much appear to remain slim.

As per a report from journalist Guillem Borràs Pérez:

‘Raphinha remains on the sidelines from the group this Thursday.’

The former Leeds United man is therefore in a race against time to play his part against Mallorca on Saturday afternoon.
