The recent contract renewal penned by Lamine Yamal at La Liga giants Barcelona has seen the youngster’s market value soar ever further.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, citing financial experts the CIES Observatory, who have this week provided an insight into the situation.

Wide-man Lamine of course committed his long-term future to Barcelona late last month, committing to terms all the way through the summer of 2031.

Already considered one of world football’s very best players, the 17-year-old’s worth to his club, in turn, has now reached new levels entirely.

As per the aforementioned report from the CIES Observatory, Lamine can now be considered as being worth a staggering €402.3 million on the market.

This is almost double the value of 2nd-placed Erling Haaland of Manchester City, whose transfer value stands at €239.6 million.

Rounding out the podium places is Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham (€233.8 million), followed by another member of Xabi Alonso’s Blancos squad in Kylian Mbappé in 4th (€192.5 million).
