This comes amid confirmation that Fermín is now seriously mulling over a departure from Catalunya’s capital over the days ahead.

The attack-minded midfielder is the subject of an ongoing transfer assault on the part of Premier League heavyweights Chelsea, eager to bring Fermín to west London before the window slams shut next week.

And if the latest word doing the rounds in Spain today is anything to go by, then the Blues could yet go on to land their man.

As per a report from Barca insider Adria Albets, speaking to Carrusel Deportivo:

‘Fermín López is considering the offer from Chelsea. Sources close to the player confirm that he is seriously thinking about Chelsea’s proposal, but he needs to decide soon.’
