A sidelined member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona on Wednesday marked his return to training alongside the rest of the club’s first-team squad.
The player in question? Pablo Torre.
Youngster Torre was for his part unavailable for selection in any of Barcelona’s last three fixtures. This came owing to an ankle injury suffered at the beginning of the month.
The 22-year-old, though, on Wednesday took a significant step back towards competitive action.
As per a report from Diario Sport, Torre was given the green light to join the rest of Hansi Flick’s squad in group training at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper this morning.
The attacking midfielder is therefore expected to be afforded a call-up for Barca’s La Liga meeting with neighbours Espanyol tomorrow night.
Torre, for his part, has taken to the pitch on 14 occasions in Blaugrana colours this season, chipping in with an impressive haul of four goals and three assists along the way.
