Barcelona star reveals dressing room reaction to Lionel Messi’s visit | OneFootball

Barcelona star Joan García has provided an insight into the reaction of Hansi Flick’s squad to Lionel Messi’s Spotify Camp Nou visit.

This of course comes after the Argentine surprised the masses in Catalunya’s capital earlier this week.

Messi, out of the blue, on Monday unveiled a series of photos of a behind-the-scenes visit he had paid to the newly-renovated Camp Nou.

Taking advantage of the Argentine national team’s training camp in Spain, the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner spent the evening at his former stomping grounds.

The visit has since sparked inevitable chatter across Barcelona’s adoring fanbase and the media alike.

And similar discussion, as alluded to above, has made its way into the Blaugrana dressing room, too.

Speaking during an interview with RAC1, as cited by Goal, this week, Joan García was asked about the reaction of his teammates to Messi’s visit.

And the summer arrival in Catalunya’s capital went on to admit:

“No one expected Messi to do that, it’s good what he did. We talked about it in the dressing room, but we didn’t give it much importance either.“
