Barcelona star Eric García suffered a broken nose during the club’s meeting with Club Brugge on Wednesday.

This came owing to a heavy collision late in the 90 at Jan Breydel Stadium.

Speaking to the media on the back of the full-time whistle, Eric admitted that he felt as though his nose may be broken.

And after a round of medical tests, as much has since been confirmed.

It is currently unclear whether or not the former Manchester City man is facing up to a spell on the sidelines as a result.

Eric for his part featured from the off yesterday evening, as Barcelona turned focus back towards matters on the domestic front in a Champions League meeting with the aforementioned Brugge.

The Spaniard, though, was part of a backline which came in for heavy criticism, owing to their collective efforts en route to conceding three goals in a 3-3 draw.
