Barcelona star to return to starting XI for Osasuna clash | OneFootball

A leading member of the midfield ranks at La Liga heavyweights Barcelona is expected to be restored to the club’s XI, for their upcoming meeting with Osasuna.

Barca, of course, are primed to return to action tomorrow night.

Fresh off a flawless opening to the campaign, Hansi Flick’s troops will make the trip to El Sadar, for a La Liga meeting with the aforementioned Osasuna.

The Blaugrana head into Saturday’s action in the knowledge that, should they make it eight wins from eight to open the term in Spain’s top-flight, a seven-point advantage will temporarily be opened over arch rivals Real Madrid.

And, in efforts towards precisely as much, one significant change is expected in Barcelona’s engine room setup.

As per a report from Diario Sport, Hansi Flick and his coaching staff plan to reintroduce Pedri to the club’s XI on Saturday.

Spanish international Pedri was left on the bench from the off in midweek, afforded some much-needed rest en route to his side’s hard-fought downing of Getafe.

At El Sadar, though, the 21-year-old will be back in from the off, likely in the place of one of Eric García, or Marc Casadó.
