FC Barcelona are scouring the market for a new centre-forward to succeed Robert Lewandowski at the club next year.
The veteran Pole is out of contract at the end of the season and a renewal appears unlikely at this point, with the Catalans already looking for possible replacements.
With the likes of Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez considered out of reach, the La Liga champions are looking at more financially viable options.
Harry Kane of Bayern Munich and Serhou Guirassy of Borussia Dortmund have emerged as targets as a result.
Kane’s contract at Bayern Munich contains a €65 million release clause, but he is likely to stay put at the Allianz Arena next summer.
Now, journalist Florian Plettenberg has brought forward details about how much Guirassy would cost in 2026.
As per the report, Guirassy has a special release clause in his contract at Borussia Dortmund, worth around €50 million, which is valid only for seven top clubs across Europe.

The release clause is valid for Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United.
It means that the Catalans can sign the 29-year-old striker for an affordable fee of €50 million if they decide to go after him with serious intent.
While Guirassy would not be a long-term solution, he would represent a sound investment for Barcelona, considering how he has been one of the most prolific strikers in Europe in recent seasons.
Having finished as the top scorer in the UEFA Champions League last season, the Guinean has already scored nine and assisted four goals in 17 matches this season.
It will be interesting to see whether Barcelona are prepared to go after Guirassy, who will turn 30 years old in March next year.
