Earlier today, FC Barcelona had their final training session before the game against Real Sociedad on Sunday.

While Hansi Flick has a near full-strength squad at his disposal, one of the most notable absentees from the session today was Raphinha, who did not take part due to a knock.

The manager addressed the winger’s situation in his press conference, stating that a final call on the Brazilian’s involvement will be taken tomorrow.

Raphinha expected to travel

However, according to AS, Raphinha will travel to San Sebastian despite not taking part in Saturday’s training session.

He did not train on Saturday and remained in the dressing room to carry out specific work. The Brazilian has been dealing with adductor problems for several weeks.

In fact, the player took part in the Spanish Super Cup final while dealing with pain after receiving an injection.

In any case, Raphinha’s absence from training will not prevent him from being included in the squad for Sunday’s match against Real Sociedad. The winger will be available and in contention to play if Flick deems it appropriate.

Meanwhile, Gavi and Andreas Christensen will remain unavailable due to injuries, while Dro Fernandez will also not be called up as he closes in on a transfer to PSG.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen, on the other hand, trained normally despite being close to joining Girona on loan and is expected to be called up by Flick for tomorrow’s game.
