Barcelona tipped to launch move for 2nd Liverpool star | OneFootball

La Liga champions Barcelona have this week been credited with a keen interest in another member of the attacking ranks at Liverpool.

This comes amid the understanding that the Blaugrana have earmarked Darwin Núñez as a potential market opportunity.

Amid an ongoing search for reinforcments out wide this summer, Barca have of course been hotly tipped to move for Liverpool standout Luis Díaz for some time now.

As of yet, the Camp Nou brass have been unable to find an agreement for the Colombian, however, as their Reds counterparts stand firm in their considerable monetary demands.

And as alluded to above, as much could yet see Barcelona pivot their focus towards another member of Arne Slot’s squad.

As per a report from Caught Offside, after Darwin Núñez’s proposed move to Napoli fell through, Barcelona, as well as a trio of other clubs, have positioned themselves in the fray for the frontman’s signature:

‘Sources have confirmed to CaughtOffside that the “strongest interest” comes from Saudi Pro League clubs Al Hilal and Al Nassr.

‘However, it is also understood that Barcelona and AC Milan are keeping an eye on the situation and weighing up moves for the 26-year-old.’
