The brass at La Liga giants are readying an appeal to those in a position of power in Spanish football.
That’s according to El Chiringuito TV, amongst other sources, who point towards as much as being lined up in response to the date announced for the club’s rescheduled fixture against Osasuna.
Barca’s planned league meeting with Osasuna earlier this month was of course postponed at the last minute.
This came after the sudden death of Blaugrana team doctor Carles Miñarro Garcia, mere hours before the fixture was due to take place.
La Liga and the RFEF, in turn, were tasked with finding a suitable date for the matchup to be played out.
This is far from a straightforward assignment, owing chiefly to the hectic schedule facing Barcelona at present.
Nevertheless, on Monday, the new date was made official, pencilled in for March 27th, following the international break.
This announcement, however, has not gone down at all well in the boardroom at the Camp Nou.
Aware that they would be without at least some of the club’s South American stars for the clash, Joan Laporta and co, in turn, are readying an official appeal to La Liga.
