Barcelona are set to resume their campaign on Saturday evening as they take on Celta Vigo at Balaidos.
The Catalans are looking to get back to winning ways after suffering a shock defeat to Real Sociedad, just before the international break.
However, Barcelona’s challenge has been compounded by a slew of injuries, with key players including Lamine Yamal unlikely to feature this weekend.
But in a rare boost for Flick, it appears Barcelona are set to be blessed by the return of two defenders, heading into the Celta Vigo clash.
According to Diario SPORT, Eric Garcia and Hector Fort have returned to training and could be in contention for the match.
Garcia, sidelined for a month due to discomfort in his left adductor sustained during warm-ups against Sevilla, has made steady progress and could be included in the squad depending on manager Hansi Flick’s final assessment.

Hector Fort, meanwhile, has also recovered from sacrum discomfort that kept him out of action against Real Sociedad and the Spanish U-19 national team.
His presence adds depth to Flick’s defensive options, which have been stretched thin in recent weeks.
Despite these returns, Barcelona remain severely depleted in attack. Ansu Fati’s injury adds to the ongoing absences of Ferran Torres and Lamine Yamal.
Torres has started light training with the team, but his full recovery is still a work in progress.
To mitigate these shortages, Flick has called up two promising youngsters, Noah Darvich and Guille Fernández, who could feature in the squad for the trip to Vigo.
