The 2025 Ballon d’Or ceremony is of course set to take place this coming Monday.

In a lavish gala at the Théâtre du Châtelet in France’s capital of Paris, the biggest names from across the world of football will convene to learn the identity of the latest ‘Golden Ball’ winner.

Several leading names from Hansi Flick’s Barcelona squad are amongst the nominees, following a domestic treble last season.

And two such Blaugrana stars, in Lamine Yamal and Raphinha, will be in attendance, according to MD.

Also present will be Pau Cubarsí – on the shortlist for the Golden Boy award – and Barca headmaster Hansi Flick.

Set to sit out the ceremony, despite their respective nominations for the Ballon d’Or, though, are both Pedri, and Robert Lewandowski.
