The positive personnel news stemming from the training ground of La Liga champions Barcelona has on Tuesday continued to flow.

This comes amid confirmation of an up-and-coming member of the club’s midfield ranks taking his place back on the grass.

Developments at the Ciutat Esportiva have taken their place front and centre in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital across the day to date.

As much comes, first, after Alejandro Balde linked back up with Hansi Flick’s squad in group training.

Defender Balde has for his part been sidelined since the beginning of the month, owing to a muscular injury.

The 21-year-old, though, was not the only Blaugrana talent to take his place back in the thick of the things in training on Tuesday.

So too, it has since been revealed, did Pedro ‘Dro’ Fernández.

Youngster Dro, the sensation of Barcelona’s pre-season, suffered a fitness setback of his own two weeks ago, whilst lining out for Barca Atlètic.

This morning, though, the 17-year-old was given the medical green light, returning to senior duties as a result:
