Barcelona transfer target rejects Arsenal & PSG to wait for Blaugrana | OneFootball

Atlético Madrid star Julián Alvarez is continuing to rebuff all other offers, whilst holding out for a move to La Liga rivals Barcelona.

This of course comes with the Blaugrana having earmarked the Argentine as a priority summer signing.

Amid an ongoing search for a new centre-forward to replace Robert Lewandowski, Hansi Flick and co. consider Alvarez to be the perfect fit.

The Spanish champions, though, are far from the only interested party… As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, both Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal have tabled considerable offers for the World Cup winner’s signature over recent weeks.

Alvarez’s message to both the English and European champions, however, was clear:

I only want Barcelona.

Atlético are pushing their star goalscorer towards options outside of La Liga, eager not to sell to a direct rival. But Alvarez himself remains unwavering in his desire to link up with Hansi Flick’s Blaugrana.

It is now up to the Camp Nou brass to convince their Metropolitano counterparts to do business.
