Athletic Club star Nico Williams this week knocked back a fresh approach on the part of German champions Bayern Munich.

This comes with the 22-year-old nothing short of determined to secure a summer move to Barcelona.

Wide-man Nico has of course reemerged as something of a priority signing on the part of Barcelona over the course of the last week.

After the Spanish international made the first move in reigniting talks between the parties, Deco and co. have shifted their focus firmly back towards Nico.

And if the latest word stemming from the media on Thursday is anything to go by, then the talented attacker appears ready to do whatever it takes to seal a Camp Nou switch over the weeks ahead.

As per a report from transfer insider Florian Plettenberg of Sky:

‘Nico Williams has given FC Bayern a final rejection in the last 48 hours. There had been a new approach from Bayern’s side. He is determined to join FC Barcelona.’
