Robert Lewandowski’s future has been a topic of discussion for several months now, especially with his current contract ending in June.
The Polish striker, now officially in the final months of his deal, is yet to finalise his future. While Barcelona are willing to offer him a one-year extension with a significant pay cut, he does have several economically lucrative options on the table as well.
Juventus, in recent days, have emerged as a contender to sign the striker and are considering their financial situation to decide if a move is feasible. Lewandowski, meanwhile, remains undecided.
As relayed by Mundo Deportivo in a recent update, the Barcelona star’s plans have not changed in the slightest despite the arrival of Juventus on the scene.
Lewandowski, given his age and the fact that this might be the last important decision in his career, prefers to maintain patience before committing to his next step.

The player prefers to wait and does not plan to make any final decision before the end of April at least. Based on his participation and fitness at that point, he will make a call on his future.
Meanwhile, his agent Pini Zahavi will travel to Barcelona next week to meet with the Polish star and get an insight into the player’s stance on the same. Needless to say, he too will play a telling part in the final decision.
With Raphinha out through injury for the next month, Lewandowski has a golden chance to take up responsibility and step up for Barcelona in front of goal. The coming month, in that sense, will show the player his importance and ability to continue at the club.
