Barca go into the game sitting second in the table on 58 points, two behind leaders Real Madrid but with a game in hand, and they will be aiming to move top with a win over Levante, who are 19th on 18 points.
Barcelona were on a run of six consecutive victories before their current dip, and now head into this match after back-to-back losses against Atletico Madrid and Girona. Even so, their La Liga home record is still outstanding, with 11 wins from 11 games and just five goals conceded.
The home side has received a timely boost, with Marcus Rashford and Pedri both returning to training and expected to be included in the matchday squad, although neither is likely to start.
Gavi is also back training with the group after a lengthy spell out with a knee injury and is expected to be fit to play again sometime in March, but this fixture comes too early for him, while Andreas Christensen is still ruled out for the long term with a knee issue.
Head coach Hansi Flick is likely to make some adjustments from the team that lost to Girona, with Alejandro Balde pushing to start again at left-back, and Robert Lewandowski set to lead the attack through the middle after Ferran Torres’ underwhelming displays in the last two games.
Possible Barcelona starting XI: J Garcia; Kounde, Cubarsi, E Garcia, Balde; Fermin, De Jong; Yamal, Olmo, Raphinha; Lewandowski.
The match will kick off at 3:15pm BST on Sunday, 22nd February.
