FC Barcelona can turn Marcus Rashford’s loan into a permanent transfer this summer, but the Spanish club is looking to lower the €30 million fee set by Manchester United.

The 28-year-old, who arrived on loan this summer, has put in some strong performances, reigniting the debate over his future in Barcelona. Some media outlets claim the club wants to trigger the buy option, while others doubt the deal will go through at the current price.

For their part, Manchester United isn’t necessarily willing to drop the fee. Chelsea, Tottenham, and Paris Saint-Germain also remain interested. Rashford is under contract with the Red Devils until 2028.
