Barcelona women to host Real Madrid at Spotify Camp Nou

La Liga F Moeve said the Barcelona v Real Madrid Clasico on 4 October will be played at Spotify Camp Nou, a first for the competition.

The match is scheduled as part of matchday six of the Spanish women's top flight.

Xavier Puig, the club's women's football director, had previously expressed a desire to stage Clasicos at Barça's historic home. Barcelona's women usually play at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.

Last season the sides met at Camp Nou only in the Champions League, a 6-0 Barcelona win.

Barcelona also hold the women's football attendance record of 91,553, set in 2022 during a 5-1 win over Wolfsburg in the first leg of a Champions League semi-final.
