While Lamine Yamal is performing at an absolutely unmatchable level for FC Barcelona and shining match after match, the minutes for Roony Bardghji have decreased somewhat.
The 20-year-old Swedish winger, who was signed from FC Copenhagen in the summer, was always aware that regular game-time was going to be an issue with Lamine being the first choice in his position.
As such, SPORT reports that Bardghji is currently going through a complicated moment at Barcelona as Hansi Flick has barely rotated Lamine in recent weeks.
Lamine has now completed three consecutive full matches in a row, in which he has scored three and assisted one goal, making himself an indispensable figure for the manager.
Excluding the match against Slavia Prague, when he was suspended, the 18-year-old has played every minute in seven of the last eight matches in which he was available. In the remaining one, he played 80 minutes.

This situation has caused Bardghji to fade somewhat from view. He did start against Slavia in that game in which Lamine was absent, but he has now gone three consecutive matches without playing.
Looking at the last eight fixtures, Bardghji has gone five without playing a single minute, played six minutes in another, 12 against Real Oviedo, and the 61 minutes of Champions League football in Prague.
It is a difficult situation for the winger, who looked somewhat downcast after the Copa del Rey match against Albacete earlier this week.
Flick has always praised Bardghji’s attitude and commitment in public. The player trains at a very high intensity and has been eager to learn since arriving in the summer. And, with still plenty left ahead in the season, the youngster’s time will eventually come.
