The coaching staff at La Liga giants Barcelona have this week come to a decision on the final captaincy group set to lead the club into the new season.
That’s according to Jijantes, who point towards a five-man band as having been assembled by Hansi Flick and co.
The captaincy setup at Barcelona was always in line for a shake-up this summer, owing to the departure of ex-skipper Sergi Roberto.
Vice-captain Marc-André ter Stegen was in turn quickly instated in his place, with the German boasting the full support of new head coach and fellow countryman Flick.
As much saw Ronald Araújo step into the role of new vice-captain, with Frenkie de Jong moving up a place in the pecking order, too.
From here, though, the Barca staff were left with some decisions to make…
And, as alluded to above, late this week, they have made a call on precisely as much.
As per a report from Jijantes, rounding out the 5-man Blaugrana captaincy contingent at the Camp Nou this season will be Raphinha, and Pedri.
