Barcelona’s predicted XI to face Girona | OneFootball

An insight into the personnel plans of the coaching staff at La Liga giants Barcelona for the club’s next outing has on Friday been forthcoming online.

This, of course, comes fresh off a difficult last couple of weeks for all associated with the Blaugrana.

Hansi Flick’s troops were condemned to their first defeat of the season last Wednesday, at the hands of European champions Paris Saint-Germain.

Even more concerning, though, was the Catalans’ ensuing performance, en route to a 4-1 La Liga drubbing at Sevilla.

Barcelona’s squad have since split for the October international break, ahead of a return to action in a little over a week’s time against Girona.

And if the latest word stemming from the Spanish media is anything to go by, then several changes are expected in the Catalan Derby hosts’ XI.

As per a report from Marca, Barca are expected to set up as follows against Girona on October 18th:

Szczesny; Koundé, Eric García, Cubarsí, Balde; Pedri, De Jong, Fermín; Bardghji, Lewandowski (or Ferran), Rashford.
