An old name could be back on the agenda at FC Bayern. Bradley Barcola was already a concrete topic in Munich last summer – and could now become interesting again
According to various media reports, Barcola had shown himself open to a move to Munich, but Paris Saint-Germain vetoed the transfer. Instead, those responsible at Säbener Straße opted for Luis Diaz, who impressed in sporting terms and worked immediately on the left flank. Nevertheless, it is clear that Bayern are looking for a younger winger with top international ability
This is precisely where Barcola comes back into focus. According to Le Parisien, the 23-year-old has rejected an offer from PSG to extend his contract. The French champions are said to have already presented the attacking player with a new working paper, but have so far been unable to convince him. Although Barcola is still tied up until 2028, the player’s stance is causing movement in the background
However, a possible transfer next summer would be anything but easy. PSG are said to be asking for a transfer fee of around 100 million euros. In addition to FC Bayern, Liverpool FC are also considered to be seriously interested. One thing is clear: if Barcola does indeed push for a move, Paris could be under pressure to make a move despite his long-term contract

The situation is made even more explosive by a change of advisor. Barcola is no longer represented by Jorge Mendes, but by Moussa Sissoko. The agent is known for pushing through tough transfers and was involved in the transfers of Ousmane Dembélé from Borussia Dortmund to FC Barcelona and Randal Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt to PSG, among others. The fact that Barcola is changing agencies now of all times is seen as a clear signal in France.
