Inter can breath a sigh of relief as neither Nicolo Barella nor Federico Dimarco have picked up serious injuries after coming off during the 6-0 thrashing of Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico on Monday night.
Barella was forced off in the 74th minute against the Biancocelesti, replaced by Piotr Zielinski.
According to Sky Sport Italia and Calciomercato.com, the Italy international will not even require any medical tests to check on his condition. It is understood that his issue against Lazio was down to some sort of muscular fatigue.
Barella could miss Inter’s Coppa Italia match against Udinese on Thursday evening as a result, but is expected to be available for the Serie A match against Como next Monday.

Dimarco, meanwhile, was substituted off less than 10 minutes after Barella on Monday night. He was replaced by Tajon Bucanan with six minutes of regular time left on the clock.
The Nerazzurri wing-back was reportedly suffering with cramp, which will not be a long-standing issue, and he, too, is expected to be available next weekend, if not before.
